I have a  few questions for you Doves. If God is all powerful and the devil only has permission from God to do what He allows, then who controls the affairs of the world? If the devil knows his time is short, then who controls his time? If the Lord chastens those who are His, who do you suppose chastens you? When things don't go your way is it because the devil has stolen something from you that God did not know about? If you think the devil is the one who is robbing you of your peace and your joy, is he chastening you or is it because the Lord is allowing it to take place? If God is sovereign and He is not chastening you, does that mean the devil is more powerful than God? I would be concerned about who is doing the chastening because if it is not your heavenly Father, then you may have another father. Let us give God the glory that is His and not give it to one who is under His authority.
 
Let God be true and every man a liar, and He clearly tells us that He is the Lord of the universe, so why are we sometimes so fearful of the enemy? Just remember, greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. God is not some weakling who is sitting on the sidelines wringing His hands because the devil is running the show. Be careful to whom you give credit. Almighty God alone is sovereign.
