Dear Doves,
 
    According to God's word, Revelation 7:1-17, the 144,000 are Jews who remain during the Tribulation and are sealed by God.  They are sealed in order to be protected from the Trumpet Judgements and there are 12,000 from each of the tribes of Israel.  They are not repesentative of the church (now), they are not some special number that will only be raptured, and they are not a harbinger of a select group for which we have to somehow fit into.  That is a Jehovah Witness deception (please read more on 2008-God's Final Witness, it is unscriptural) and completely not true.  God's word is true.  ALL of His numbers are literal (not figurative) and our Lord and Saviour, Jesus of Nazareth is coming to take His Bride home before the tribulation:  HIS BRIDE CONSISTS OF THOSE WHO HAVE ACCEPTED THE LORD JESUS AS THEIR PERSONAL LORD AND SAVIOUR, HAVE CLEAN HANDS AND A PURE HEART AND ARE WATCHING FOR HIM "WITH THEIR WAISTS GIRDED AND THEIR LAMPS BURNING  Luke 12:35.  Do not allow people's random, false, and misleading ideas cause you to worry!   Keep a guard over your heart and mind as you surf the web or read the over-abundance of literature on the end-times.  Accept Jesus as your Lord and saviour, repent of your sins and keep short accounts with Him, live a life wholly committed to loving and serving and watch...Those are the prerequisites to being counted worthy to escape.
