Hello John and Doves,There have been several dispensations since Adam and Eve were in the garden and one of the longest has been the dispensation of grace / the Church age. It's been here about 2000 years and just before that was the dispensation of law / the mosaic law.The word dispensation is mentioned four times in the New Testament 1 Co 9:17, Eph 1:10, 3:2, and Col 1:25. Every year during the Law, while there was a temple, at Passover they would tie the scapegoat with a red ribbon and when they took the scapegoat to be killed outside the city, they would cut the ribbon in half leaving half tied to the goat and the other half to the temple. After the goat was killed then the ribbon that was left tied in the temple would turn snow white and Israel took this as a sign that Father God had accepted the sacrifice. It was reported that the ribbon never turned white for the forty years after the crucifixtion. We of coarse know why, the true Sacrifice had been made by our Lord and Saviour. There seemed to be a lap over between the dispensation of law and Grace of forty years. While many were becoming Christians after Pentecost that year, they still celebrated Passover with animal sacrifices. What ended this? When Tital destroyed the temple in 70 A.D. there was no more dispensation of law. Then Luke 21:24 happened"And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations:and Jerusalamen shall be trodden down of Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled". The Six Day War in 1967 is the marker in time when Jerusalamen was no longer trodden down with Gentiles.....the times of the Gentiles has been fulfilled! Since there is nothing new under the sun, are we in the forty year lap over again? and as Titus ened the lap over in 70 A.D. with the destruction of the temple, what will end this forty year lap over? The Rapture of the Church. Some of this is my opinion but what is not my opinion and is a fact "the times of the Gentiles have been fulfilled" and we are within just moments before the Rature. See you in the air I pray!Agape,Chuck Holler Sr.
