Thanks Steve for your hard work and your article! I concluded the same general time frame for the rapture but from different subjects. I am certainly not dogmatic but it is comforting to know that other people are coming to the same conclusions.
 
Cindy, I remember J.R Church went over this passage years ago in Isaiah 57:1 as he did speak about his thoughts on the verse.
 
You wrote " The righteous perisheth ( the ones killed in the disaster?), and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away ( raptured? ), none considering that the righteous is taken away from evil to come."
 
When J.R Church was going over the verse he did feel it was the rapture. He also said there are 17 definitions of the word perisheth in the Hebrew. I think he said something to the order of, "to die in battle" or to die this way or that way.
 
This specific word "perisheth" in Isaiah 57:1 means "to disappear for no apparent reason." I don't know if that is the word for word rendition but I hope you get the basic idea.
