Meanwhile...my IMHO was {and is} that we'll be gone before a
major financial tragedy strikes.
I still think so, too! I know we could be
dead wrong (financial collapse of the Great Depression) BUT things are so
different now days! For one, even back then when EVERYONE in the
world was broke during the '30s, people were at least willing to help each other
out. My grandmother fed many "hobos" who would show up at her back door,
starving, & begging for food. She wasn't "scared" that they came by
when she had a house full of kids -- she wasn't the least bit concerned about
being shot or raped by any of them. She just knew they were desperate for
food. They'd eat, then go on their way.
But when it happens THIS NEXT TIME (soon, after we're
gone I expect) ~ then people are going to be SOOOO angry & loveless that
they'll start killing each other over food!
You know how HATEFUL people are in these end
days! Why, we nearly got creamed on the highway Sat.
afternoon just because a guy decided he wanted on on the entrance & was
flat going to run us down if we didn't get behind him!! [no one
bothers "yielding" any more! ~ nor do they drive with consideration or
courtesy!! You literally take your own life in your hands each &
every time.....] And it's beyond me how people just don't CARE about
anybody -- they just flat don't care if they kill you or not!!
Honestly!! Their hearts are just SOOO cold.
Anyway, so it'll be beyond HORRIBLE when there's a $
crash & everyone is grappling just to stock up on the bare essentials of
life like food & water!!
This is the #1 reason I think the crash will happen
AFTER we are gone. We were told by the Lord Himself that the rapture
will happen as life is continuing on as ORDINARY, remember? ...
where people were busy building, planting, planning weddings, getting married,
going to baby showers, thinking about retiring, etc. etc. etc.
So, if bombs were zipping in the sky, if there was a major financial
collapse & the whole country was shut down & out of work, then how
would this be "ordinary" living? People would not be "buying and selling"
and planning big, expensive weddings at that point. They certainly
wouldn't be busy building homes & growing businesses on a large scale.
Again, a reminder that in Lot's day ~ one of the things ppl were guilty of
was "fullness of food"! Ezekiel
16:49 ~ they were busy feeding their own bellies & living the good
life & failing to help the poor & needy. In every large
metropolitan city, you see "oodles" of cars parked in the restaurant
parking lots -- every single day!! Believe me, I know there are (sadly)
some who do not have "enough", but there are yet plenty of others
who certainly do have "fullness of food".
This does not go hand in hand with a major financial collapse at the same
time. For when that happens, it'll put many of those restaurants out of
business! And the ones who have money to hoard WILL hoard it & stay at
home.
Hey, I'm not AGAINST having an extra stock of food, water ~ and even "some"
cash around (although even if I had any to keep around, then I'd be worried
about burglars!! ~ so for us, it'd be a no-win situation!)
I've got a few jars of peanut butter, crackers, water ~
things like that set aside -- but not thinking of it for our use, as much as for
those left behind.
{.......and I expect they'll be needing
it *soon*!!}
Anyway, the ONLY reason I don't panic is cause the Bible STILL says that
life will be going on as ordinary .... when Jesus comes to gather us at the
pre-trib rapture.
But then, they DID have the Depression of '29 ~ and it wasn't time for the
rapture yet...... THEN!!
Sometimes, I honestly have to pinch myself & REMIND MYSELF how close we
must be to the rapture NOW!! Not JUST b/c of the $ setbacks, but b/c
ALL signs & symptoms are going on AT ONCE!!! .... "when these
things BEGIN to happen".......
So with that & all the war talk w/Syria ~ but most of all, most of all,
MOST OF ALL ~ the talk of a final peace status in the M.E. ~ I know we've looked
at various time frames over the past handful of years, but I keep asking myself
~ how can it not be this year??
Soooo.... here's hoping for a SPRING rapture!! Be COMFORTED in
knowing that Jesus IS coming!... and He's coming soon!! THIS IS OUR
BLESSED HOPE!!
