"Doctrines of Demons"

I Timothy 4:1 states “The Spirit clearly states that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons.”  There is clearly evidence of this in our day, and I would like to share some of the examples of doctrines of demons to hopefully enlighten those who are bound by one or more of them.

First of all, there is a demand to devotion to an Organization.  Only that Organization has the truth, and salvation is only available through that particular Organization.  Further more, only that Organization can interpret the bible, not an individual through  the Holy Spirit of God, as the bible states.

Secondly, we are saved, or go to heaven, based upon our works.  But the bible states we can never be saved by our works, but only by the grace and mercy of God.  (Ephesians 2: 8 - 10).  Third, Jesus Christ is a brother to Lucifer, an archangel, or a co-redeemer, with someone else.  The bible states only Jesus Christ is God.  (Titus 2:13, I Corinthians 8:6) Exodus 20: 3 states “You shall have no other Gods before me.”

Fourth, there is no hell.  It is simply the grave.  The bible states numerous places, that there is a real hell where those who reject Jesus Christ as Lord will be tormented forever.  (Matthew 5: 22; Luke 16: 23; II Peter 2: 4) Fifth, there is a book or magazine published by the Organization that holds more importance, or equal importance to the bible.  However, the bible commands that we are not to add to God’s word, and to do so will bring severe punishment. (Proverbs 30: 6; Revelation 22: 19)   Finally, there is belief that we can become gods ourselves.  This is what Satan told Eve in Genesis 3: 5.   Are you going to fall for Satan’s lie?

Galatians 1: 8 states “But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preach to you, let him be eternally condemned.”  Is this what you want for you and your family?  I urge you to put your complete faith in Jesus Christ and his word, and throw off the chains of darkness that may enslave you.  If you do, you will have a joy and piece that is beyond description.  Jesus Christ guarantees this!
