Doves,
On Friday, March 9, 2007 as I was driving home from attending a Sunday School class “party”, I began to see something in my spirit. I don’t know how to describe it, because it was not a vision as I would think of a vision. But it was like I had an awareness or an understanding of something presently happening in the spirit.
What I was “seeing” was that Rachel, who was considered to be barren without the hope of a child, has reached the term of her second pregnancy. She was going past her “due date”, and the baby inside was getting bigger and bigger. My main concern: I began to realize that without getting this child to be delivered soon, that the delivery would become more and more difficult and more painful. It appeared that the child would be delivered in much sorrow and pain unless we would intercede. The child to be born was called “Grace” and the son of sorrow would be called a son of God’s right hand (ie. Benjamin).
On Sunday March 11, 2007, I asked for prayer in Sunday School concerning this and requested that we pray for God to bring this baby forth and the delivery would take place soon and without difficult travail.
The other day, I had a coworker tell me that he participated in “Burn Tulsa” (a 24-48 hour non-stop praise and worship event) which happened to be hosted at my old church which is a “Mennonite Brethren” church. Obviously that was a surprise, so I had to check out what was happening and found there was a blog about the March Event.

In the March Event, the writer mentioned a word from Chuck Pierce which caught my attention. Now, I don’t know Chuck Pierce from anyone and cannot vouch for his ministry. Honestly, there are a lot of “prophets” which as far as I am concerned are prophesying amiss because none seem to agree. So I am even leery of reading of other prophetic “insights” because most do not even see the big change coming to the church. I may touch on this later. When I checked out Chuck’s website, I saw he posted a very similar word in his newsletter.

Dear Faithful PRAY-ERS:
In January when the Lord told me that we would be in 10 Days of Travail, I had no idea that Brian and Lori Kooiman, who work with me, would be having their third child on this day. Yesterday, Lori delivered a healthy 8 lbs., 14 oz. boy, Benjamin. Psalm 127:3 tells us that children are a heritage from the Lord, and the fruit of the womb is a reward. The Psalm goes on to say, “Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them; they shall not be ashamed, but shall speak with their enemies in the gate” (v. 5).

As I said before, I do not know Chuck and cannot vouch for his ministry, but I can say what he was seeing is independent of what I saw and bears witness of the same.
As I read Revelation 12, it would appear that it is related somehow. The man-child would be a child of Rachel, a child by Grace. It has what seems to be prophetic similarity to Esther who was called Hadassah who was a Benjamite. Hadassah means “myrtle tree”. From the Arabian Myrtle comes myrrh.
Dennis Jernigan sings:
The tree of Myrrh is full of tears
That only comes forth when bruised
But the fragrant life that wounding brings
Is born on the wings of good news.
Like Myrrh when hardened must be crushed
Before its fragrance can rise
My hardened heart must be made dust
My father please open my eyes.
Anoint my heart for burial
Release the fragrance of Christ...
From the ashes of our life, God is going to bring beauty and turn our mourning into dancing. From our sorrow and tears, God brings forth a son. When the Spirit of Grace and Supplication is poured out, our infirmities are raised in strength. Our weaknesses are given power. Our lives sown in death become alive. He who saves his life will lose it, but he who loses his life shall find it. We will overcome by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of our testimony and by not loving our lives unto death, we pierce the veil of darkness that hides the face of God.
Blessings,
