the Karaite Korner website has announced that the barley harvest was found abib (aviv) which means 80-90% ancient ripe) according to law....so the feast of unleavened bread will be called for April 4th.  If abib was not found, it would have made it be called a month later, early june, as is called according to old testament regulations.  That means firstfruits and Pentecost will be the earlier dates.  This gets me excited, as I see a lot of...er..."potential" for firstfruits/pentecost in 2007.  The earlier, the better!!!  Tracydee
