"Re:Louis and Lou Ann and "Last Days""

The term "last days" is found in 8 Bible verses:

And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you that which shall befall you in the last days.  Genesis 49:1

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.  Isaiah 2:2

But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of the LORD shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.  Micah 4:1

And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:  Acts 2:17

This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.  II Timothy 3:1

Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;  Hebrews 1:2

Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days.  James 5:3

Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,  II Peter 3:3

What I had found intriguing was that even though the phrase "last days" is only found in 8 verses scattered throughout the Bible, (1st, 23rd, 33rd, 44th, 55th, 58th, 59th, and 61st books of the Bible), Isaiah 2:2 and Micah 4:1 are almost word for word the same.  (However, the 66 Chapter correspondence of Isaiah to the books of the Bible doesn't match up.)  But it must be important because it is repeated.

But then the posts came regarding Isaiah 30:25:

And there shall be upon every high mountain, and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters in the day of the great slaughter, when the towers fallIsaiah 30:25

And references to mountains and hills again.

Which made me wonder what it all meant.  Maybe Isaiah 2:1 is the key in that this is telling us the future of Judah and Jerusalem.

The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.  Isaiah 2:1

The Tribe of Judah are the "Jews", the southern kingdom that had occupied Jerusalem and are now occupying parts of Israel and Jerusalem.  In reading on it sounds like the "last days" referred to are the 1,000 year reign of Christ, which will be the last days but has not come.  What I also found interesting was reading further in Genesis 49 about the blessings and what appeared to be curses upon each son or tribe of "Israel" and reading about the blessing upon the tribe of Judah.  The most famous one is:

The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.  Genesis 49:10

Which is remarkably similar to:

And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.  John 12:32
