Studying the origin of the two Seeds

(Underlining is my observations)

  1. Genesis 3:15

“[a] nd I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise they head; and thou shalt bruise his heel.”

Question?

Whose seed is the LORD referring to?

  1. Malachi 2:15

“And did not he made one? Yet had he the residue of the Spirit. And wherefore one? That he might seek a godly seed.”

Question?

If there is a “godly seed”, does that mean that there might be an “ungodly seed”?

Why is HE “seeking” a godly seed?

Meaning that they are hard to find?

  1. Matthew 13:37-39

“He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; the field is the world; the good seed are the children of the Kingdom; but  the tares are the children of the wicked one: the enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angles.”

Observance:

Reading with Gen. 3:15, where the two seeds are being mentioned, here you can see more clearly the difference between the two.

-         What we have here is the “Children of the Kingdom and the Children of the wicked one, which is “the devil.”

  1. Matthew 13:24-25; 29-30

“Another parable put he forth unto them saying. The Kingdom of Heaven is likened unto a man which soweth good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy come and soweth tares among the wheat, and went his way.”

“But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.”

Observance:

Here you will see the two type of seeds, which are been sown; a good seed and a ‘bad’ seed. Both are been sown in the “Kingdom of Heaven.”

Question?

If both seeds were sown in the “Kingdom of heaven”, why didn’t the “good seed” notice the ‘bad’ seed sown by the enemy?

But what did the LORD say?

He said that if you want to take out the “tares” you might root up also the wheat. Therefore let them, both grow together until the HARVEST (End of the world – Matthew 13:39).

It is also clear as in verse 26, that you will only notice the ‘tare’ after they brought forth fruit.

What is amazing from the passage is that the good seed and bad seed sown are not reflecting on any tribes, nations, denominations, families, or even close friends!

They have been sown between mankind, and only when they are fully grown, will you be able to identify the tare from the wheat, by means of their fruit.

Their fruit are the only way to identify the tares, and the following Scripture proof it.

  1. Matthew 7:16

“Ye shall know them by their fruit. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?”

-         Here the LORD specifically mentioned that you will know them by their fruit.

  1. 1 John 3:9-12

“Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.”

“In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.”

“For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another. Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother.

And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother’s righteous.”

Question?

Who is the “wicked one” that is referred to in 1 John 3:12? Cross-reference reveal the ‘wicked one’ in Matthew 13:38-39, and you will see that the Scriptures refer to the devil.

Observance:

From all these Scriptures, it becomes clear that we have currently two seeds in the earth; the children of God and the children of the devil!

The Father deemed it necessary to point out that HE is not a respecter of person and therefore HE doesn’t make distinguish between male or female, father and son, mother or daughter, etc.

  1. Matthew 12:34-35

“O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.”

Question?

Referring to Matthew 7:16, what “fruit” is the LORD talking about?

  1. Galatians 5:22

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, (patient) gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, (humbleness) temperance (self-control): against such there is no law.”

  1. Galatians 5:19-21

“Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, envyings,

murders, drunkenness, revelings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.”

Observance:

What we have here is:

-         The Fruit of the Spirit,

-         The works of the flesh

The Holy Spirit produces Fruit, whilst the flesh produces Works.

Ø      The Fruit of the Holy Spirit is heavenly, spiritual, unseen, and produces after its own kind.

Ø      The Works of the Flesh is earthly, natural, can be seen, and produces after it own kind.

PS: Therefore, let us which are sons of God, children of Light; Set-apart unto the Father, walk in the Spirit. Galatians 5:25 states that “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not be desirous of vainglory, provoking one another, envying one another.”
