John,
One reason that man cannot know the day of the Rapture is that it does not occur on a single day! The International dateline illustrates this clearly, but even a simple example closer to home is helpful in understanding this. Consider when it is a few minutes after 12:00 p.m.in New York City, on say April 5, that it will be 9:00 p.m. on April 4 in Los Angeles! In general therefore, the planet is always at any instant viewed from outside the Earth as TWO calendar days! Since the Rapture occurs in the twinkling of an eye it is instantaneous for all practical purposes, so that the exact SINGLE day, or date, can NEVER be known by man--since man is only ever at a single point on the Earth at any instant of time. But G-d can be everywhere at once (omni-present) and is not limited, but even G-d being present across the entire planet at once will not change the fact that He is simultaneously present in TWO dates on the planet ! Therefore, if my reasoning is sound, while G-d knows the days and hours, man by his very nature of being a "uni-present" (if that is the correct term for the opposite of omni-present) being may at any given instant of G-d's omni-present viewpoint be in only ONE of either of the TWO days or dates. Therefore, following this line of reasoning, we can more rigorously state the Rapture date as April 4/5 or April 5/6, or state April 4 in New York City or April 4 in Los Angeles I was re-reading your article on the meaning of 118 (thought to be November 8, 2006) and was wondering if it too is the correct Rapture date, only interpreted as 1/18, i.e., Nisan 18, and since there are two Rapture dates on the Earth the Rapture is on Nisan 17/18 -- and this makes me happy since I really liked the reasoning in your 118 article and was surprised that November 8 was a non-eventful day, prophetically speaking! Please keep up your excellent work in counting the days that remain for us who remain while the dead in Christ are taken before it our turn.
Yours very sincerely in Christ,
Robert

Excellent thought, Robert!
I noticed the close links between 117 & 118. For instance, we are now in the 118th month of the current 19-year cycle which has a total of 235 months. On both sides of the 118th month there are two periods of 117 months:235 months = 117 months + 118th month + 117 months
