Isn't it interesting, how, when you feel an urging of the Holy Spirit to look into something, more and more info on that subject just seems to come your way??
 
Well.......a magazine I get had a wonderful article this month titled:  The Vital Key to Studying History.
 
Some highlights:
Every person must decide if they are going to believe men who worship their own minds, or men who know and speak for the true God - the all-powerful Creator and Ruler of the universe.  The truth is, the Bible provides the all-important kep to studying history.
 
And...God does not intedn for teh scholarly - those who worship human reason - to understand today.
Many educated people would consider it beneath them to pick up a Bible and read it, let alone study and love it.
 
Anyway....a good read.

In this article, it says:  Oxford was the leader of the pacifists pre WW2.  My comment: And today who is it?????????......... the elite/unicersities of the NorthEast.....Harvard, etc.
 
(I know, I know......the WCG, and the Trumpet Magazine are not "mainstream" Christianity.  However, I must say, their perspective on these end times is really insightful.   I don't think they believe in a Rapture of the church, but they sure do believe the 2nd Coming of Christ is very, very near.)
