Hello Bob D. and Doves,See http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/mar2007/bobd37.htm
Thank you for sharing your studies about the number four relating to life on earth and
heaven to come! The number four has been in my heart since the Lord spoke that number to me in 2005. It was like He said the number four is important,or four is significant right now. Then I started seeing things like a racoon with four cubs. The mother would sleep or be somewhere else and the cubs started playing in the daytime just the four of them.
The neighbors living on either side of me both increased to
four occupants. On one side the younger son came back home to live with his parents and
grandmother. The neighbors on the other side welcomed a new baby making four in their family.
There were other examples, my fourth and last surviving pet cat died that
summer, and the final vet bill was exactly $444.00, arriving the week after he
died. (Sticker shock yes, but the number stayed with me!) The four pet cats had
spanned 29 years and had at one time all lived a few years at the same time, 2
indoor and 2 outdoor. The other three had grown old and died and now the fourth
one was gone too.I realized as well that all of us biologically have four grandparents, four
great-grandfathers and four great-grandmothers, even if we didn't have aunts or
uncles, or brothers or sisters, or cousins. Also, during the hurricane season of 2005, there were 4 cat.5 hurricanes and a
total of 28 storms that formed, http://www.weather.com/newscenter/tropical/This is all subjective, annecdotal and personal evidence that got me interested
in the number four in the Bible. In the fourth chapter of Matthew, Jesus calls
the first four disciples, 2 sets of 2 brothers, Peter and Andrew, then James and
John. Jesus comes to his disciples during the fourth watch of the night on the
sea. Lazarus is in the tomb 4 days before Jesus resurrects him from the dead.
Zechariah mirrors Revelation with the four different colored horses.Thank you for extending further insight in your 2 part article!
In Christ's Inexhaustible Love to All,
