Trust me, Michael, when I tell you that my beliefs are about as far from Catholic as it’s possible to get.  Here are the same two Scriptures from the Hebrew to English translation (called The Scriptures, a direct Hebrew to English translation which uses the Tetragammon for YHVH and Yahshua), not a Catholic 20th Century version:

“Let no one deceive you in any way, because the falling away is to come first and the MAN of lawlessness is to be revealed, the SON of destruction, WHO opposes and exalts HIMSELF above all that is called Elohim or that is worshipped, so that HE sits as Elohim in the Dwelling Place of Elohim, showing HIMSELF that HE is Elohim.”

Sounds pretty clear to me.
