"Friday's FEATURE stories, and Friday's article ("The New RFID Tattoo - Mark of the Beast?" by Gary Stearman)..."

New items have been added to my Daily Update pages for Friday morning, located here:

http://www.his-forever.com/daily_update_03_30_07.htm

Due to TIGHT personal time constraints (3-hour drive per day to/from work, etc.), from now on, I will only be listing the FEATURE stories each day, though the actual daily news stories will ALL be on my Update page. Total listings were taking me WAY too long in the mornings!

Plagues -

  • Deadly Jellyfish Plague invades Australia Coast
Irukandji jellyfish are among the world’s most toxic creatures – all but impossible to detect in the water but packing a potentially lethal punch belying their tiny size. Until recently it was thought that they were confined to Australia’s northern tropical waters, but marine biologists have now found them off Queensland’s Fraser Island — a popular tourist spot about 400 miles south of their previously assumed range.

Strange Earth Signs -

Global Warming -

  • Antarctic ice sheet thinning - scientists

  • Beware killer heat waves, UN report warns

  • Researchers say Norwegian ocean waters warming to record high temperatures
It said average water temperatures in the Barents Sea over the years since 2000 have been the highest since records started in 1900. "It has never been as warm in Norwegian ocean areas as it is now," said the institute's report "Ocean Resources and Environment 2007." "The warming is due both to warm weather and warm Atlantic currents, and the cause is a combination of natural and manmade changes."

Strange Heavenly Signs -

Planets -

  • Big Auroras on Jupiter [AWESOME PHOTO!!!]
So you thought Northern Lights were big in Alaska? "That's nothing," says Randy Gladstone of the Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, Texas. "Jupiter has auroras bigger than our entire planet."

  • First Steps to Mars
The landing site is unknown. The rockets are still on the drawing board. Some of the astronauts haven't even been born yet. Never mind all that. NASA's journey to Mars has already begun.

Friday's article, "The New RFID Tattoo - Mark of the Beast?" by Gary Stearman, will also be linked to the Daily Update page.

SYNOPSIS:

A new Radio Frequency Identification ink has been successfully tested and is due to hit the market soon. The invisible ink can be detected up to four feet away — not by infrared sensors, but by radio frequency detectors. The company is marketing the product for branding cattle, but claims that it is safe for use as a human tattoo as well. It is far less expensive than a microchip embedded under the skin. It appears that this is the ultimate development in personal identification — shades of the "mark of the beast."
