Barbie,

Thanks for the added info on this subject. I have one thing I think has become a Biblical "garbage can", for ease of understanding. That being this entity people from Hal Lindsey on down the line have identified as the AntiChrist.

The notion that there is a human being called the AntiChrist is totally unBiblical. This term is used only four times and is always referencing a spirit that indwells peoples beliefs. 1 John 2:18, 2:22, 4:3 and 2 John 1:7.

The key is we must ask oursleves where do we see  this entity? The easiest way is to begin at the end. In Revelation 19:20 and see who is tossed into the lake of fire. We see two entities only. One is the false prophet who is the human voice of the dragon. The other is the beast.

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Then we see Satn is tossed into the pit for 1,000 years. Revelation 20:2 &3;

2: And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

 3: And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Notice there is no antiChrist? That is because it is the spirit that is against Jesus as the true Christ of God. There is no human being called the antiChrist.

The false prophet is the only singular human entity that is the mouth, or voice of Satan here on earth during this time period. He is seen in as the mouth in Revelation 13:5 & 6 and Daniel 7:8 & 25.

I fully believe the beast from the sea is all that encompasses the entity we know as Satan and all of his faculties and powers. The beast from the earth is Islam, the people of the seed of Ishmael from Hagar and then through Esau, Jacob's (Israel's) brother.

Drop over and read some of the Bible Studies that address this, not from a predisposed position, rather from the pages of our Lord's Word as it was written.
