Dear Dawn,We will add Shweta and Shebetcha to our prayer list to become Born-Again. Thank you for sharing that.
We agree with you that as Jeremiah 17:9 says, "The heart of man is deceptively evil, and who can know it ?"
Society --- through Science and Technology-- wants to tell us that "every day in every way things are getting better."
But the Scriptures tell us the truth ... that mankind " will wax worse and worse" ( 2 Timothy 3:13 ).
A Scripture that helps me to understand why so many have fallen from righteousness is this one from
Ecclesiastes 8:11
"Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men
is fully set in them to do evil."_______________________
And Wade,
Just want you to know that we will pray that your children will come to know that you love them and that your relationship with them can be made whole.
God is able to "restore what the locust has taken away " Joel 2:25 .... if not on this side, then on the other side.
"All things work together for good to those who love God" Romans 8:28_________________________
And Randy Larson,
I agree with you that there are many harmonies within the Bible. The Scripture is so wide, high and deep that we will be in awe of it for all eternity : " My words will never pass away".It says in Matthew 13:52 that there are treasures in the New and the Old ( Testaments ) . These treasures are by comparison, similitude, metaphors, parables, alliterations, etc.
If the Holy Spirit confirms these insights by other verses within Scripture, then we can accept it as noteworthy.
So we believe.
Thank you for your insights in Isaiah and our ability to obtain them.In Him,
Jim Goodrick
