March 19th Solar Eclipse
The first solar eclipse of 2007 occurred at the Moon's ascending node in Pisces and was visible from eastern Asia and parts of northern Alaska:
Summary: The Moon glided in front of the sun on March 19th, (2007) not directly in front but slightly off-center, producing a partial solar eclipse visible from India, across China and Russia, all the way to the far reaches of Alaska.
