Russia and its alies have a plan to take down the US in 3 stages.

They will use a special trained force called the Spatznez I believe, something like the Seals in the US military. These folks were used to remove the WMD's from Iraq before the war started.

 

Grey terror is weakening and taking out various targets that seem unrelated.

 

Pink Terror is a notch up. The assasinations of anyone warning of the Russian plan, such as the Russian spy who was poisoned with Putonium recently and also the one Jim Bramblett mentioned who was shot in the lower abdomen whom the media did not cover. Alco in this catagory is the taking out of infrastructure such as Hiways, oil refineries, power lines and etc.

 

Lastly is Red terror. This involves the actual planned destruction and invasion of the US.

What they did manage to report accurately is the identity of the victim, his physical location when shot and the fact that he was shot.

IMHO, yes, it is. There is historical reference for such since the demise of the "Soviet Union." The highest profile example would be General Alexander Lebed. He was assassinated for his public testimony about missing former-Soviet tactical nukes.

I think it will depend on how angry he is when fully recovered. He is probably the most knowledgeable person in the country, if not the world, on the subject matter. He above everyone else in America knew the nature of the beast he had publicly locked horns with.
Particularly with his relationship with Kalugin and Litvinenko.
