Finally!! Someone has it figured out besides myself about the verse "no one will know the day or hour" is talking about Jesus's return when he comes with wrath. We will know the day and hour! I believe we will know 40 days before he takes us into the clouds. The dead will rise first THEN us that REMAIN will meet in the air. We don't know how long there is between the dead in christ rising from the ground and the rapture. The Lord says look to the Sign of Jonah. Jonah was given 40 days to preach to Nineva and turn their heart for God, Jesus left the tomb (symbolizing raising of the dead) and preached to the land for 40 days.
The Word will be heard by everyone in the world before His return, and a sure way for that to happen would definitely be for the dead in Christ to preach with the saints for 40 days spreading the Word of God. Thanks Jim for nailing it!
