"Jesus REQUIRED the Jews to KNOW Prophecy...rightly dividing The Word of God"

Jesus REQUIRED the Jews to KNOW Prophecy...rightly dividing The Word of God....thus Expecting His arrival.  Will He expect anything LESS of those are actually INDWELLED by the Holy Spirit?

Mat 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [thou] that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under [her] wings, and ye would not!
Mat 23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

Luk 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen [doth gather] her brood under [her] wings, and ye would not!
Luk 13:35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until [the time] come when ye shall say, Blessed [is] he that cometh in the name of the Lord.

Luk 19:41 And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
Luk 19:42 Saying, If thou had known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things [which belong] unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.

Amazon.com: Coming Prince, The (Sir Robert Anderson Library): Books: Sir Robert Anderson
Sir Robert Anderson, inspector of Scotland Yard, and careful Bible student to investigated with painstaking care the Great Prophecy of Daniel's 70 weeks. With the care and precision of his Scotland Yard background, Anderson reviews the 69 weeks of the Great Prophecy, dots the yods and crosses the tittles and brings us to a precision rendezvous with the planned (2nd) triumphal entry of the Lord Jesus Christ in the Gospel of Mark as the fulfillment of the 69 weeks.

The Triumphant entry into Jerusalem was the first time that Jesus would allow anyone to worship Him openly and call Him their Messiah.  It was at this open display of worship and recognition, that the Jewish leaders considered it blaspheme and began to plan His demise. Yet if they had done their home work they should have KNOWN, according to Daniel's precise prophecies that Jesus WAS their awaited Messiah.

God holds us accountable to know His prophecies.  The signs of His soon return are all around us!

God sent 2 Witnesses to confirm that Jesus Christ was, in fact, the long awaited Messiah: they were Simeon and Anna.  Both Waiting with expectancy and Watching!    God will again, out of mercy, send two more witnesses to the Jews during  the last 7 years of Daniel's prophecy.....to proclaim the truth and prepare the way for Christ......and warn of the wrath to come.  We know that at least 144,000 Jews from each tribe will respond to this call DURING the last 7 year's of Daniel's prophecy......which is just upon us.

Mat 18:16 But if he will not hear [thee, then] take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.

2Cr 13:1 This [is] the third [time] I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established.

Rev 11:3 And I will give [power] unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.  They will proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the Jews in Jerusalem.

Luk 2:25 And, behold, there was a man in Jerusalem, whose name [was] Simeon; and the same man [was] just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.
Luk 2:26   And it was revealed unto him by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ.
Luk 2:27   And he came by the Spirit into the temple: and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him after the custom of the law,
Luk 2:28   Then took he him up in his arms, and blessed God, and said,
Luk 2:29   Lord, now lettest thou thy servant depart in peace, according to thy word:
Luk 2:30   For mine eyes have seen thy salvation,
Luk 2:31   Which thou hast prepared before the face of all people;
Luk 2:32   A light to lighten the Gentiles, and the glory of thy people Israel.
Luk 2:33   And Joseph and his mother marvelled at those things which were spoken of him.
Luk 2:34   And Simeon blessed them, and said unto Mary his mother, Behold, this [child] is set for the fall and rising again of many in Israel; and for a sign which shall be spoken against;
Luk 2:35   (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.
Luk 2:36 And there was one Anna, a prophetess, the daughter of Phanuel, of the tribe of Aser: she was of a great age, and had lived with an husband seven years from her virginity;
Luk 2:37   And she [was] a widow of about fourscore and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served [God] with fastings and prayers night and day.
Luk 2:38   And she coming in that instant gave thanks likewise unto the Lord, and spake of him to all them that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.

Maranatha!
