Here is something maybe worth thinking about:
At the Feast of Pentecost, according to Acts 2, the "day had fully come". The time was the third hour of the day or 9 am in Jerusalem. This Peter makes clear since those assembled were certainly not drunk.
What is peculiar about 9 am in Jerusalem is that world daytime would have stretched across Australia, Asia, Africa, and Europe in its entirety. The rest of the world would have been dark (sorry Americas), but still a part of day 50 since the 24 hour day begins at evening. So the whole world was fully at Pentecost by having the Spirit come at 9 am Jerusalem Standard Time.
Beware of the confusion of Daylight's Saving's Time!
So this year it will be 10 am Jerusalem Daylight Saving's Time to equal 9 am Standard Time.
Will this Pentecost be the day the Church's fullness comes? The fullness of the Gentiles? The full lump of dough (Rom 11:16)?
At the fullness of the day?
Just more to consider.
in Christ,
