John:Although I have been a lurker for a couple of years now, this is my first communication to you. God bless you and this forum for all of us Doves!!
I wrote this poem many years ago, but I believe with the Rapture so imminent, it is very apropos. I tell my family ever day that we are so close, and that even if one of us may pass before Christ beckons us into the clouds, we will be reunited soon enough at the Wedding Supper of the Lamb.
For some reason (I know not why) I am being led to send this to you -- even if you choose not to post it.
SOLACE IN DEATH
If I were to die before my prime,
If the Angel of the Lord came at His appointed time,
I'd hope no tears were shed in vain,
For to live is Christ, and to die is gain!Our Savior's outstretched arms displayed the Love that He had,
So lamentations should be brief, no countenance should be sad;
It's needless to grieve when Christ has already foretold,
He's the Resurrection of Life, and the Door to the Sheepfold!The Good Shepherd has promised to bring His flock home,
To free them forever to Heavenly roam;
So brush any tears from off your face,
And take solace in the Lamb and His Almighty Grace!!
May God bless us with deeper conviction, greater compassion, and additional knowledge of the Rapture day before He returns.

Thanks, Bruce. Welcome to the Doves!
