Marcia This is what I know about this subject. I might have some insights on your question.
 
The dollar not having any value and a crash more than likely mean two different things. There have been countries that have lost all their money even after the worldwide crash in 1929.I think Brazil was one of them but this is not the norm.
 
The key to understanding this is to ask what the Bible teaches. The worldwide financial crash to take place in the future is spoken of in Revelation 6 : 5." And when He had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand." The key to understanding this is the consecutive order.
 
First the rapture takes place." And I beheld, and,behold, a door was opened in heaven : and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me;which said, come uphither and I will show thee." Rev.4:1. It is only after this point that the four horses are opened.
 
Does the black horse mean that everybody will lose their money after the rapture,massive inflation or both. My response is twofold.
 (1) That will be the least of the problems on planet earth.
 (2)Does it really matter because the sixth seal is right around the corner soon to follow after the third seal. "And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places. Rev.6:14.Nobody at this point if they are in their right mind is going to say,"Oh no I lost my money."
 
Although life may be tough now, nothing of a worldwide crisis happens until after the rapture and the opening of the seals.It would have to be so obvious that accepting Jesus Christ now is what a person has to do to be a part of the rapture.After the seals are opened the $ crash is a part of the wrath of God.We as the children of God are not appointed to wrath.First Thes.1:9 and 5:9.
 
As far as your own individual finance is concerned just pray about this.You certainly have my prayers.God will give you direction.
