Jan, you are not alone in being one of this world's orphans.....I was taken from my parents age six,,and put in many different foster homes and orphanage,,,I was made a ward of the state because of the parents' poverty....this was a horrendous experience for me as a child and I never got over it.....finally placed with adoption services, to a woman who was very cruel and just wanted a girl for housekeeping........
          When you are separated from parents, you spend your whole life without confidence, and intimidated by everyone around you.........
          You found your way to Psalm 27...and I did too, in the sadness of this whole life...because it says, Psalm 27:10  "When my father and my mother forsake me,,,then will I take you up...."
        I have always felt, however, that the circumstances of our life, do lead us closer to our heavenly Father,,,,,,and when one is deprived of earthly parents who love and cherish you,,,then all the more closely do you cling to our Father and His Son, sent to us to claim us in His family.....
                        I have always prayed that my real parents are with Him and await our coming reunion....
