Gary,

I hope these scriptures help you

2 Timothy 3:16  All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

The above scripture says ALL good works and ALL scripture. It does not just apply to the apostles.

Luke 10:17  And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Luke 4:17 And He was handed the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when! He had opened the book, He found the place where it was written: 18 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, F29 To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; 19 To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."

Jesus proclaimed this as we are to do all that Jesus did.He is our example and teacher.

James 5:14 Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.
5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
16 Confess your trespasses  to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.

Luke 10:19 Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. 20 Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rather  rejoice because your names are written in heaven."

Notice in this next parable that authority is given to his servants. That would be all believers.

Mark 13:34  It is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to watch. 35 Watch therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming--in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning-- 36 lest, coming suddenly, he find you sleeping. 37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!"
If this authority is yours you can cast out devils and &! nbsp;heal the sick in Jesus name.

Aren't all believers names written in Heaven? Then these scriptures apply to all believers.

I have been a personal witness to the casting out of demons and have seen the sick healed in Jesus name using our God given authority. We have frequent reports of victory in our church as our authority in Christ is taught there.

Mathew 16:19 And I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed  in heaven."
