"Why is it taking so long
to start rebuilding in Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi?"
I have a theory about why so many communities
still lie in ruins 6 months after Katrina...
God is protecting His people in the Bible Believing South.
A greater destructive force (Hurricane or otherwise)
could be on the way. By keeping those people out of their homes or
ready to evacuate out of their trailers on a hair-trigger notice with the
next catastrophe, God is showing mercy on the people affected by Katrina.
There are still over 150,000 New Orleans evacuees in
Houston six months after Katrina. Why? Insurance companies
are dragging their feet to pay home owners for the damage on their homes.
Why? We can all answer these questions with human reasons, but God
has the ultimate answer to these questions. Is he sparing His people
from something even more devastating by keeping them away from these low
lying coastal areas?
Just a theory, but something to consider...
