also Adar 12, 5766 original calendar You get a new approach to a miracle here. This story will come to you in two parts, but you get to read the whole story now. This message will tell the story from my perspective, then I will write what she has to say about it. Miracles are common in our church (church is the people of God, not the building), but they usually happen at various times when JESUS acts through HOLY SPIRIT. This can be and is at any time during a church service and at any time during our daily activities - even overnight while we sleep. We do have a regular weekly prayer session and many miracles happen there. We also have occasional special services for healing. During our last one, people were healed. For years I sat just inside the main door to the sanctuary during extra services for guest teachers, etc. and I was the answer man for visitors looking for restrooms, telephone, drink, etc., but we had the ushering crew at the doors for the first time at a special service. I sat up front for the first time at one of these. This was a healing service with praise and worship as usual followed by teaching about healing. These are important to prayer (see link below). Many people went forward for healing. All went between a double line of people who prayed for them. Several were healed. Their faces showed happiness. Reactions are different when healing happens. Some stretched their hands up. Some clapped and hugged. Some fell down. Some stood still and cried. One lady started jumping and, continuing, she eventually began hopping all around like she was on a pogo stick. She had a huge smile. Much later when the crowd had dwindled to 75-100, I talked to her. She had degenerative knee joints which is not only crippling, but very painful. One had just been operated on and was still painful from that. The other was waiting for operation. It is all over now because JESUS sent and HOLY SPIRIT delivered healing for both knees. Jo was still excited an hour after it happened and told me more, but you can read the rest in the message about her perspective of her miracle. The last thing she said was to me as they left for home; “I can’t wait to see my doctor and see what he says about THIS!” It is good to have a Father who cares so much about us that He had His Son provide for our healing.
