There is a verse which kind of says
"Calling into being that which is not "Where do you find it in Scripture?
How do you get that? It sounds like a promise accessible to us -- kind of like "Command the mountain to move and it will".
But no matter how much I look I do not see much in the way of impossible situations changing amongst people of faith.
How can these become reality in a believers a life?
I know I have faith like a mustard seed in the area of healing. Why do I know I do? Because I see what Scripture says about it. There is NOTHING in Scripture that says, "If you are sick, too bad. You will get about as much help as medicine can give, but that's it." Instead I see a ton of things, like " SURELY he has borne our infirmities." And because it is Scripture I believe it all -- and have for decades. That must be at least faith like a mustard seed?!? And yet the reality I see around me is "If you are sick, too bad. You will get about as much help as medicine can give, but that's it." I have laid hands on dozens of people seeking healing in Christ, commanding healing in Christ, believing for healing in Christ. Nothing. How can we see what Scripture plainly says is true come true?
And believe me -- I have "tried" everything anyone ever said would help, from "receiving the Holy Spirit" to making commands in Jesus' name on the basis of clear Scripture. I believe so much I am astonished when people don't get healed. And yet, in decades of believeing I have never seen anyone get more well than what medicine might accomplish for them. I'm grasping at straws here. What do I need to "get going" in helaing? What do I need to get healed myself? Declaring, proclaiming, believeing, and claiming Scripture -- none of this has helped.
I have even read Jim Bramlett's magnificent book. I believe it all. I still see no healing,
(Jim sent me a copy once when I had no money to spare. Thank you, Jim!)
