Time goes by so fast. It seems like just last year when the Columbine
High School tragedy unfolded.
In fact approximately 7 years have passed since Darryl Scott gave his
address to the House Judiciary Committee's
subcommittee on Thursday May 27, 1999.  He was one  of many who spoke,
and his speech was  reported by the Associated Press,
and picked up by several major newspapers.
We would do well not to forget this lesson.
