Dear Doves,

Lu 21:25 - Show Context

And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;

Truly we are at a momentous hour in the History of the Church. We are about to meet our Saviour.

On March 29th there will be a solar eclipse and on April 1st there will be a "hiding of stars". Those of you who already know all this stuff, please bear with me. It says in God's Word,

Joel 3:15 - Show Context

The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.

In a solar eclipse, the moon moves across and covers the face of the sun, which not only darkens the sun, but darkens the moon also. As you know, the moon cannot gives its light without the sun being in another part of the sky, because moonlight is actually reflected sunlight. So, in a solar eclipse, the sun and moon are both darkened.

Now what about those stars. I don't believe the stars referred to here mean all the stars of heaven. As we have seen in other posts on this site, there are seven stars in the Pleaides constellation. It has been pointed out, I believe by E. W. Bullinger that these represent the "congregation of the judge/ruler".(If I'm wrong about that feel free to correct me)

Now, in Revelation chapter 1, Christ is shown as holding "seven stars" in His right hand.

Rev 1:16 - Show Context

And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

These "seven stars", I believe, are the stars being mentioned in the verses above - Luke 21:25 and Joel 3:15 - and they will, in fact "withdraw their shining" on April 1st when they are covered by the moon. It goes onto say:

Rev 1:20 - Show Context

The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

Since we are to shine God's light to the world, and we are represented by these seven stars, I believe the withdrawing of the light from these seven stars represents the "withdrawing" or "departure" of the church  from this earth.

These are, indeed, signs of the approaching rapture.

Now when you add this to all the other things that are taking place simultaneously, you can only come to one conclusion.

We are going home!!  Woo-hoo!!

Forever in His love,

Gary
