Thanks for your replies to my question on Mark 16: 15-20.  I now see that I should have been clearer with my question.  Let me try again.  Are there any verses that tell us that all or most Christians went out and preached the gospel, spoke in tongues, took up serpents, did not die from deadly drink, laid hands on and healed the sick?

Peggy reminded me of the story about Stephen in the book of Acts.  Stephen was full of faith and full of the holy spirit yet it appears that he did not receive power to do great wonders and miracles until the apostles had laid hands on Stephen and the other chosen 6 and prayed for them (Acts 6:1-8).

Thanks again for your help in understanding if all Christians are supposed to preach the gospel, and do the other wonders that the original apostles did.
