(IsraelNN.com) According to a Geocartography Institute poll, 66% of the Sabbath-observant community identifying with the hareidi-religious stream are willing to forgive Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu (Bibi), despite his major cuts in monthly child allowances as finance minister, while they are unwilling to forgive Kadima leader, Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert, a major player in bringing the anti-religious Shinui party in as a coalition partner under Prime Minister Ariel Sharon. This in addition to Olmert’s announced plans to move ahead with another unilateral disengagement.

Only 36% of the hareidi community is willing to place the government in Olmert’s hands once again.

Therefore, the hareidi-religious sector prefers a Netanyahu coalition including Labor Party leader MK Amir Peretz, realizing that none of the parties can muster enough votes to form the next government without entering into a coalition.
