March the 28th is just around the corner (Israeli elections) and we will have a new Prime Minister. In all my years in Israel and through many elections I’ve never seen the Israelis so discouraged over their choices. Ariel Sharon sold the Zionist dream to the enemies of Israel and established a new political party that was corrupt from the beginning. Sharon brought a man who was 33rd on the Likud list (Ehud Olmert) in the Knesset and made him number two. The big question no one is asking is why was he picked as the number two man in the Knesset? It is being rumored around Israel that Olmert and his number two man Shimon Peres had a hand in Sharon’s death, and by the way he did die, but has been kept breathing and his heart kept beating for political reasons. Shimon Peres according to Barry Chamish was responsible for the death of Rabin as well. One thing is certain Peres and Olmert are being promoted by the powers to be. To listen to the Israeli news you would believe the election is a done deal and Kadima has already won and Olmert and Peres will be running the country. It’s like no one remembers that Peres brought us Oslo, that he armed the Palestinians and brought us all this death and destruction. It is also worth mentioning that Shimon Peres has never won an election in Israel but always seems to be the first or second in command in most Governments. That he stood hand in hand with his friend Yasser Arafat and accepted the misguided Nobel Peace Prize. It’s also no secret that the Bush spin doctors are busy working behind the scenes to make sure Olmert wins the elections and that in itself is all we need to know that something isn’t kosher.
The Likud seems to have fallen asleep at the wheel, allowing Sharon to do so much damage to the party that it looks like an impossibility to bring it back to its original glory in Israeli politics. Netanyahu just doesn’t seem to have any fight in him, there are two weeks left and in Israeli politics that is a very long time, God only knows what will happen. We all know that Netanyahu had several opportunities to stop the Gaza Disengagements but refused to do it, then at the end he tried to make it look like he was against it, but not many are buying his story.
But what is sad is Likud is still the only chance Israel has to win against the forces coming at us. Labor has proven unworthy or unable to fight Islamic terrorist. The NRP who now has joined with the National Union (NU-NRP) speaks well and seems to be the only true Zionist party left in Israel, but has absolutely no chance of even coming in third in the race for the Knesset. Their best hope is to get enough seats to become a player in the coalition that will have to be formed. As for Connie Joel and I we will vote for Likud for we know it is the only chance we have.
It has been said that whoever controls the media controls the people and I believe that, for if you can control the information the people get you can control their vote. We are seeing this in a big way, if something big doesn’t happen Kadima will win this election and George Bush will control the Prime Minister once again, and that explains why Sharon picked him from so far down the list to be his number 2-man.
Connie and I returned from Turkey last night, our search for the larger boat has gone from a casual search to one of most importance as we know in the spirit that time is now most urgent and we must be about the business of getting ready for the work God has commissioned us to accomplish.
The boat we felt most drawn to is a 70-footer capable of carrying at least 100 from Turkey to Israel in less than two days. The price had started at 175,000 Euros but through negotiations we now have it as low as it will ever be sold, and that is $140,000. All the legal work and preparations for moving her to Israel could run over $10,000. To many that will sound like a lot of money, but this boat when new would have cost over $500,000 without radar, sonar, radios and GPS chart-plotters, and her condition is like new today.
One of my main concern is the possibility of the fall of the dollar around the end of this month because of the IOB out of Iran making it possible for all of the EU countries to buy oil with the Euros instead of the Dollar, this will cause a sharp downfall of the dollar and severely hurt the US economy. At least that is what is being reported across the Internet, but we will see soon enough. Many believe that the attack on Iran will happen soon as well, this would make it very difficult for us to buy the larger boat. What is concerning me even more is the needed groundwork we need to get done as soon as possible as well as the need to get information out in certain areas throughout Europe. I am also in contact with other boat owners who might be willing to risk such trips to rescue Jews.
We still have time and God is still in control, He called us to do this work surely He will see it through, if God is touching you now is the time to respond.
