Hi Eveyone,

Jack said he has received huge initial signals for the general region of the Far East; more specifically across Japan, China, India for a great quake measuring between a magnitude of 8.0 to 9.0*. These are initial signals added to the unprescedented 400+ main signals he has detected for this region since May 2005. Jack said in the last 27+ years forecasting quakes these signals are by far the most he's received for one specific area.

The General Forecast is in effect from March 20th to June 20th, 2006. The 90 day window period will be revised one the large confirming signal is received.

The maximum percentage of probability assigned to a General Forecast is 15%. Once a main signal is received than we will issue a Specfic Forecast providing more detailed information as to the most likely location within the region, the most likely dates for this great quake to occur, and a revision of the percentage of probabilty.

* Signals originating offshore in the water may become distorted. Actual magintude of earthquake may be greater.

Jack has been forecasting quakes long enough to know the "Bigger the Quake the Longer the Wait". He would like to impress upon everyone that the large confirming main signal may take place at a moments notice allowing may be a few hours or days to get prepared. At this time we have NOT issued a tsunami warning. This is subject to change one the confirming large signal arrives. Jacl also noted that some of this signals out of this region are volcanic in nature. Therefore he is not ruling out the possibility of volcanic eruptions which may take place in addition to a great quake.

We want to URGE people living in this region to stay alert for early warnings signs of an earthquake. There are numerous warning signals which we call anomalies. Anomalies consist of: sudden increase or decrease in water levels i.e. creeks, springs, wells, lakes, rivers, etc.; power outages either balck outs or brown outs, power surges, transformer explosions, unusal electrical disturbances via cell phones, landline phones, TV and/or radio reception; excessively high or low tidal forces; strange animal behavior domesticated or wild; rotten egg or sulfur odors near/from water sources, a sudden increase in water temperatures in home water systems and/or in bodies of waters such as wells, springs, lakes; unexplained landslides or fissures; sudden weather changes not typical; sudden increase or decrease of gesyer activity including volcanic unrest. If you notice any of these signs PLEASE contact me immediately! These events do give further indication of an area experiencing a higher probability for increased seismic activty. The total solar eclipse this month is on March 29th. This event may trigger a seismic event too.
