I’ve posted this before, thought it was worthy of posting again, when you take a step back and look at the BIG PICTURE you can actually see in God’s word the FUTURE and how everything is going to play out by just looking at what has already happened. When the rapture will occur is as plain as day.
I strongly believe the rapture of the church is on resurrection day Nisan 17/18
Below is a parallel and another type and shadow of the rapture:
King Solomon said there is nothing new under the sun. . .whatever has happened before will happen again. .
---The resurrection of Jesus on the third day along with the captives he set free (remember the dead that rose with him) is a type and shadow of the Pre-trib rapture
The saints that died in FAITH (Adam to Christ) before Jesus came are just like the saints living NOW waiting for the promise of his return after 2000 years. The saints Jesus brought up with Him the first time WERE RAISED IN HIS LIKENESS ON THE SAME DAY!!! Romans 6:5 Praise the Lord!!! There it is, now we know!
Jesus will again descend to the earth from Heaven and set the captives free as He did before (are you a Prisoner of Hope?, the Blessed Hope, I am) and bring us back up with him to Heaven at the pretrib. Rapture Zechariah ch 9: 11-17, ch10:1
When Jesus descended into the earth and set the captives free and brought them up and ascended to the Father, He took the resurrected saints with Him to the Father that very day, the day He arose (the third day). . . AS HE WILL AGAIN VERY SOON ON RESURRECTON DAY!
BUT. . . HE CAME BACK and was with the disciples for another 40 days (just like it rained 40 days during Noah’s time)
Will He come back to equip the Jewish 144,000 as he did the 12 disciples? I think so, for Jesus IS indeed the former and latter RAIN of KJV Joel 2:23 who comes down for us to take up ( we the ready Bride, those like Ruth and the first fruits of the barley harvest), just like the flood waters took NOAH UP!) in the first month Nisan, after He takes us up He will come back and return to Israel who acknowledges Him and He revives, heals and restores them (Hosea 6:1-3) I think this speaks of not only His second coming but of a time He equips the 144,000 for 40 days (RAIN FALLING AS IN THE DAYS OF NOAH SO SHALL THE COMING OF THE SON OF MAN BE) after the rapture of the church. Jesus has made many appearances on this planet, to say that He wouldn’t during the tribulation before His public second coming is not scriptural in my opinion.
---I think the 12 disciples are a type and shadow of the 144,000 (12 thousand from each tribe) that will be sent out to evangelize the planet earth made up of 6 billion people during the Tribulation. You’d need a lot more that 12 to evangelize 6 billion.
The LATTER RAIN harvest everyone is preaching about will occur AFTER the rapture of the church, for that is when the double portion anointing is poured out
More evidence is WHEN Elisha was given the double portion anointing AFTER Elijah was RAPTURED. . .
