"PSALMS 106 AND BEYOND"
PSALMS 106 AND BEYOND
As I was looking at the Prophecy in the News telecast
Mr. J. R. Church said in Psalm 106 that King David pleaded before God that
he would be apart of the great resurrection which J. R. tended to believe
could be a reference to the Rapture of the Church. He looked like
he was trying to contain himself because he was excited. As I was
reading Psalm 106 I thought there could be two references to this. Verses
4 and 5 state " Remember me, oh Lord, with the favor that Thou bearest
unto Thy people: O visit me with Thy salvation; (5) That I may see the
good of Thy chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of Thy nation, that
I may glory with Thine inheritance. This sounds like the Rapture.
In Psalm 106:47 the Bible says " Save us, O Lord our God, and gather us
from among the heathen, to give thanks unto Thy holy name, and to triumph
in Thy praise." I think you could consider verse 47 being a reference
to the Rapture; however, verses 4 and 5 are so blunt that I don't know
how anybody else could interpret that. I think we always have to leave
these interpretations a little open ended because we could never be 100
% sure.
J. R. Church felt that Psalm 107 was talking about a
mass exodus of Jewish people going back to Israel because of a Messiah
figure. He believes Israel is in the fifth year of a Sabbatical cycle.
The year 2008 would start the new cycle. After Psalm 106 a new section
of Psalms start from 107 to 150. For some reason he believes the
year by year ends after Psalm 106. I don't necessarily agree with this.
He just spoke in general terms and said the tone of these Psalms is leading
to Rapture and Tribulation. Of course let me just add if you don't understand
the principal of the year by year Psalms J.R in the past went on to pretty
much prove that Psalm 1 was a reference prophetically to 1901, Psalm 2
(1902), Psalm 17(1917), and so on.
He felt ( J. R. Church) there was a reference to the
Antichrist in Psalm 109. If this is chronological that could be the
middle of the 7 year Tribulation Period. I was talking to another
expert and she said the sun goes back to its' original position of creation
in the year 2009. This sounds like the sun is taking its' rightful
place in the Solar System. The Son of God, Jesus Christ takes His
rightful place in the middle of the 7 year Tribulation Period. At
least I have read this more than once in many of the sound Biblical commentaries
on the Book of Revelation.
As I was watching this telecast and listening to this
expert I felt my spirit verify that Jesus Christ is indeed coming very
soon in the Rapture of the Church. Any thinking person would accept
Him into his or her hearts as their very own personal Savior because the
time is getting shorter and shorter. Hopefully we will do all we
can now as the time of our Lord's return becomes closer and closer.
How close are we to the Rapture of the Church? Only time will tell.
