To date I have supported President Bush in our efforts to establish a Democracy in the Middle East.  Billions of US dollars and thousands of American lives have been sacrificed and dedicated to this cause.  Now an Afghan court operating under Sharia law in our newly liberated “democratic” country of Afghanistan has sentenced a Muslim man to death for becoming a Christian?

Will the new government of IRAQ also operate under the same Sharia law and also promise persecution and death to Muslims converting to Christianity in Iraq?

What form of Democracy is this for which Americans are paying such a high price?
