Couple of months back there was a post on Sir Isaac Newton's date of the Crucifixion, Apr 23, 34 AD. (http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/jan2005/toddt110.htm)I find the date intriguing although the author of the article cited (http://www.johnpratt.com/items/docs/newton.html) agrees with the current mainstream scholastic opinion that Jesus was crucified on Apr 3, 33 AD.
Newton narrowed his search down to two possible dates just mentioned. In the final step of reasoning, he preferred the date Apr 23, 34 AD. Newton may well be right after all given his giant intellect.
IF Newton were right, Passover & Pentecost 2005 would fall on the SAME month and day as the 34 AD dates!
Passover 34 AD fell on Apr 23.
Passover 2005 will fall on Apr 23.Pentecost 34 AD fell on June 13.
Pentecost 2005 will fall on June 13.
Perhaps it's true the number 234 points simply to 23rd Apr (23-4) as one dove observed (http://www.fivedoves.com/letters/mar2005/johnn311.htm).There are exactly 1971 solar years between Pentecost 34 and Pentecost 2005. 1971 years is significant because it is almost 2000 prophetic years.
1971 solar years = 1971 x 365.25 days = 719,908 days (rounded)After TWO days the Church will be revived. Before year 2,000 we may be removed in the Great Snatch!
2000 prophetic years = 2000 x 360 days = 720,000 daysMaranatha!
