2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

The spirit of fear is a real spirit from the army of Satan. It can attach itself to a room or an object in the room. Do you have any
figurines of snakes, serpents, dragons or other occultic symbols within the walls of those rooms? How about books or pictures? If so, I would destroy them at once. Evil spirits can attach themselves to people , places (rooms) or things.  Sometimes evil spirits dwell in a room because evil was committed in that room, maybe before you moved in. This could be true if it is an older house with previous residents You can drive evil spirits from your house by going room to room and praying over the rooms pleading the blood of Jesus over them and anointing them with oil. Sort of a room by room eviction. Take authority over the spirit of fear and command it to go in the name of Jesus. Break its hold and command it never to return.

In the old testament God commanded the children of Israel to not take objects from the cities that they conquered because in doing so the objects may come with evil spirits due to occult practices and idol worship. God was trying to protect his people.
