I always thought it would just be perfect if the rapture occurred on Ascension Day.
Why? because it would be clear to the average person left behind that this was the day Jesus was resurrected.  And for the jews who are still waiting for their messiah
it would send a clear message as well.  When both groups find out what happened
and how the christians also became transfigurated on that same day, well let's just say it could not possibly become more clear to them.
Then again, God knows best.  I'll just wait eagerly and see what He decides to do.
