The Bride Has Made Herself Ready.
We should be serious about the preparedness of His body to be received of Him. I feel these could be the 5 foolish. Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. They weren't ready! Those who are compromised, and were carnal, not seeking to live holy lives, but willfully sinful will be left.It is imperative that we live our lives honorable toward Him, that we may be presented spotless. Little children are pure in their hearts. He said, Luk 18:17 Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. It is very important in this late hour that our hearts reflect this purity. Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God. Repentance with Godly sorrow brings forth much good fruit.
Who has made themselves ready? Rev 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to him: for the ! marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready. That means we have to do something. How do we make ourselves ready? By repentance, submitting ourselves to His will, and unto holiness. For the pure in heart shall see God. Without holiness we cannot see God.
We in ourselves are not holy, our own righteousness are but filthy rags, yet we are asked of the Lord to separate ourselves, to be sanctified and be holy as he is holy. Pure in our heart and thoughts before Him. That takes the involment of our will.
Not that works will save us, that is impossible, but there must be an understanding that if He gave such a great sacrifice of Himself for us, we must commit ourselves unto Him in honor, out of our own heart and will towards Him, in reverence and respect, separating ourselves. He that remains the same to the end, the same shall be saved. It has been a burden that the Lord has put on my heart lately. He loves His own, and wants us to be ready for H! im.
There is a balance in Jesus. We are not to go too far to the left, nor too far to the right. The extremes of the past have either been legalistic and judgmental in doctrine, or too encompasing and liberal. Phl 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
There is nothing more Jesus can do than what He has already done. Now it is up to us to follow. Again that involves our willingness to do so.
Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
1Cr 6:9 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,
Hbr 10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.
Hbr 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any ma! n draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.
Hbr 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.
Psa 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy holy spirit from me.Psa 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me [with thy] free spirit.
Psa 51:13 [Then] will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.
Psalm 145:18 The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth. If you want to hear from the Lord in your heart ask Him to cleanse you, love Him, and worship Him with praise and thanksgiving from the depths of your soul, give Him your all. He will not turn you away.If we are His, He asks us to be holy, as he is holy. This means we have to conscienciously commit ourselves to Him in purity of heart.
Jhn 6:37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.This is true. He will not cast us out. It is up to us to stay with Him. We have a choice. Will we commit to Him that has freely given us all things? Or not? God is holy. Eph 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.
It grieves Him to see us seek our own way, knowing that it will bring death and destruction. Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. A gift is something you have to take to get. If someone hands you something, and you don't take it, then you don't have it do you? If God gives us something He does not take it back, but you can throw it away once it's yours can't you? Or you can keep it, cherish it, and take care of it. He has given us a chance at eternal life, at a great price! Aren't we going to keep it, nurture that life, and care for it?
We need look no further than Jesus. We must first agree that we are all sinners by nature. None is better than the other. The God of Abrahm Issac and Jacob, the God who created all things, sent His beloved son here to earth to teach us the way and path unto life. If we would but choose life. For God so loved the world, that He GAVE His only begotten son, that WHOSOEVER would believe on Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16As we draw close to Him, and read His holy word, filling ourselves, and submitting ourselves to Him, we are set free in Him from the works of satan in our lives. Submit yourself to the Lord, resist the devil, and he will flee. If you have asked Jesus into your heart, then you are also called to walk with Him until the day of your redemtion.
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate, and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that! leads to life and only a few find it. (Matthew 7:13,14).
So, we must KEEP believing and obeying Christ with a faithful, committed, continuous heart towards Him. He is faithful. He cannot fail.
The foolish ones did not keep themselves committed to the Lord with their hearts on fire for Him with holy love and purity of heart. Seeking Him. Rev. 3:16 So then, because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.
Revelation 3:2-3 says Rev 3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.Rev 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Verse 4, Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
The time of all things written is at hand, 2Cr 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.Hallelujah, praise be to God the Father, in His holy dwelling place, and to the son Jesus the Christ our beloved Savior, who died such a cruel death for our redemtion!
