Why the world thinks evangelicals are insane

While most people are concerned about the moral/ethical questions involved in the Terri Schiavo case, the passion of some of the Christians has gone beyond temperance, reason or "righteousness."  A man in NC was arrested by the FBI because he offered a bounty to anyone who would kill Judge Greer.  Though Congress acted on Terri's behalf trying to make sure her "due process" rights were not neglected, and though Governor Bush tried to get custody of Terri through the Florida State Department of Human Services, people do not see the obvious.  Clearly, blaming anyone but the person who is intent on the death of Terri (Michael Schiavo) and the judge who refused to consider the law (no written living will) is putting the blame on the wrong source.
President Bush is pro life.
Governor Bush is pro life.
Judge Greer does not regard the sanctity of life.
Judge Whittemore does not regard the importance of Congress or due process.
Calling people Pontius Pilate and falling on the ground like a lunatic, make these people who wear Jesus shirts look like lunatics.  Maybe they are.....
Clearly, it is a time to open discussion about allowing hear say evidence as final authority in a life and death decision.
Clearly it is time to consider parents' rights.
Many states will have dialogue in their state legislatures as a result of the Terri Schiavo case.
This is the good that has come out of the bad.
Seeing how judges are not Constitutionalists any longer also gives us food for thought about the judiciary in our nation.
Legislating from the bench is not the way of a democracy.  WE THE PEOPLE have to stand up and do something ....let our voices be heard and make sure when we vote for local judges we know where they stand on issues.
