    This is even more wierd.  Same night, same time..probably a different time zone, and I am not so sure of anything more that my clock said 3 AM..
    At our house we had a Ker Thunk too.  Something hit an inside hall wall waking us up....a search of the house never revealed anything that fell, or struck the wall...and we also thought of it as a "wake up call".
    In MDT, where we live...it was a very windy night..we live in a tri-level and so have many inside walls, that are right by outside walls...so we thought maybe a tree branch had struck the house on its way to unknown places.
Hummm?  now I wonder.
