GREAT!!!!  That gate is one of the most convenient entrances to the Old City.  But it was usually difficult to enter because there were always Muslim men swarming there trying to get you to buy a tour guide--they are so pesty.  There is a very nice shop there run by two Greek Orthodox brothers--I used to buy music and things there.   They were always asking for prayer because the location was so bad.  Also just outside the entrance a few blocks away was where a few of the more vicious suicide murderer attacks were--this land purchase should hopefully help control some of that.  Mea Shearim, the King David Hotel, and the YMCA are not far from their either.
