"Are you watching?"

I find all of your conclusions on the rapture 2005 (based on the $2.34) very interesting.
However, didn't the recent discovery of barley in abib void all of the dates previously discussed? According to the NEW dates set by the finding of the abib Barley, firstfruits is now March 27, 2005.

However, I do believe this year is a VERY good possibilty for the rapture of the Church.

We know from scripture that the completed Messiah was the offering on Pentecost,
and we know that His completion consisted of His crucifixion, His resurrection and His Ascension. All of that occurred prior to Pentecost - It had to in order to be used as an offering on Pentecost.

We also know from scripture, from Thess. Chapter 4: verses 16, 17, that the dead in Christ shall rise first, then we which are alive will be caught up with them . . .  This is the Church being talked to here.  The Church is the Body of Christ - and it is going to be caught up, both the prior dead, and those alive.

And we know that the next new offering will be made on Pentecost after the covenant with the Church closes. Thereby returning the “loan” so to speak, back to the Jews, of the feasts.

That raises the question: What happened between Firstfruits, and 50 days later on Pentecost that allowed for the Apostles to preach Jesus as the Messiah?

The final act of completion is what happened - The Ascension of Christ’s Body.
Isn’t that what occurs at the Rapture? Christ’s body, the Church, going up?

Because the Church was a mystery, revealed only to Paul 16 years later, there was no Feast of the Ascension for the Jews! After all, the Church is the grafted on branch to the tree of the root of Abraham. Nevertheless the set time for the body of Christ to Ascend was scheduled by God before the foundation of the world, as surly as the set time for the Crucifixion was The Passover - as surely as the time set for the Resurrection was Firstfruits, and as surely as the time set for Jesus  to be the new offering as the completed Messiah was Pentecost!

Jesus initiated the Feast, or the set time, for the Church.  He, Himself casts the shadow into the future, setting the time of the Rapture.

So God did leave the Church with a timing for the Rapture?
Along with knowing from Daniel when and what to watch for, the teaching of Paul to the Church tells us (I Thess. Chapter 4, starting in verse 5),
that we are not in darkness, we are children of light, children of the day, not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others, but let us watch! He tells us to put on the full armor of God, the hope of salvation for God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ!

Now this makes sense! Because we know that when "Daniel" is on the scene, it is time to watch for the reward of not being appointed unto wrath, The Rapture!  Because Daniel won’t be on the scene of the stage of History until end times!

Then Paul tell us comfort ourselves, rejoice and edify one another with the knowledge. He says that Faithful is the one that calleth!

God never said that the timing of the Rapture could never be known,
only that it be discovered and revealed in it’s time, as foretold to Daniel in chapter 12, at verse 4 - when the seal is broken on the prophecy, there will be much new knowledge.

God is a god who used set times to cast shadows to identify things yet to come.
His challenge to us to seek and find Him is very appropriate, because everything you need to know is revealed in his word in time.

Just as the Church was withheld from the Old Testament people, and revealed to Paul at the appropriate time, so it is with the Rapture. Had the Jews of the Old testament accepted Jesus as the messiah, there would have been no need for the church or the rapture, so it’s revelation was unnecessary until it’s time.  The Rapture’s timing has always been there. To say that it wasn’t is to say that God’s plan for the ‘Church’ wasn’t in place, but it was, just waiting to be revealed in it’s time. The plan was laid down before the foundation of the world, and once put into motion, it travels along it’s own journey until completion. Now that we are so close, we have reached the time for the Church to be made aware. Which leads us to believe that we are extremely close!

Only after understanding what Scripture has to say about the Rapture’s timing and significance to end times, does one understand why the devil would hide this seemingly easy to understand association of the Ascension/Rapture of the Church from those for whom it was intended.

But God saw to it to tell us that when Daniel was on the scene, there would be much new knowledge.

We have ALL been watching the spring feasts, but we have to be careful to CONTINUE to WATCH. God just gave us a VERY clear signal.  He changed the dates of the feasts back to HIS timing. NOT mens timing. All who were watching caught the clue.  The dates that the Jews should be watching and the Christians,  are all converging on this one timem, Easter Sunday March 27 (firstfruits). If this is the year I think God is going to show us something spectacular on that Date.

Are you watching?

God Bless you.
