Thank you for your assessment of the US's relationship to Israel.  I believe you're correct in saying we are about to lose our country's blessings from God because we are pressuring Israel to give up her land for a "peace" with the Palestinians that will never happen. I have been praying everyday that President Bush would realize this and stop the pressure on Israel to effect a peace with Palestine by giving back land that God says very clearly in the Bible is their land.
 
Of course, this is pretty selfish since it allows God to preserve the US a little longer but I also think this may be why the United States is not mentioned in end time Bible prophecy.
 
You are also correct that we certainly deserve whatever punishment He metes out to us for allowing millions and millions of our babies to be slaughtered by abortion (not to mention the multitude of other sins we practice everyday).  Pray for the peace of the United States when you pray for the peace of Israel, it couldn't hurt!
