MIRACULOUS HEALING. The below is excerpted from the written testimony he sent me:

On October 5, 2001 at about ll:30am, my cardiologist gave us the bad news. My heart was operating at about 30%, the right side of my heart was almost totally shut-down. The only thing he could try was to go in and try to roto-rooter the arteries, but the chances were only 50/50 that it would be successful. But, and there's always a "but", I would be on kidney dialysis the rest of my life because all the "dye" would kill my kidney's (if I had agreed, it would mean that I had had 6 angiograms).

“What if I don't agree to the procedure?” was my immediate reply. He said that I had a month or two at the most to live. I would be having a massive heart attack any day.

I said I'd get back in touch. I made the decision to not under-go the procedure. Everyone was distraught, but understood my position. I talked to the Lord about everything.

It pretty much boiled down to: If the Lord had any more work for me to do, He knew I must have a new heart and arteries. If my work was finished here, I had fought the good fight and was ready.

Six months prior to this, June and I had made plans to go to a Benny Hinn Miracle Crusade in Mobile, Alabama. The crusade was October 11th and 12th. We finalized our plans to go, and convinced our pastor (Andrew) to meet us on Friday the 12th, and attend the morning and evening meetings.

Thursday the 11th was extremely difficult for me. I could only walk about 50ft. before I had to take a nitro-glycerin and rest. Near the end of the service June and I went down to the back of the stage (we had heard that Bro.Benny would pray for people after the service), but they said he doesn't do that anymore. We kept pestering the usher, but he wouldn't allow us back there.

As we were talking to the usher, a Benny Hinn staff member, Steve Hill (not the one from Brownsville), walked up. We were introduced, and I explained my situation to him. He said the Holy Spirit had directed him to this spot, but he didn't know why. He then laid hands on me with June and prayed that "the Lord would heal me and grant favor to me". He said that Friday when we came in to tell the ushers that we were guests of "Steve Hill".

The following morning, Friday the 12th of October 2001, we met Pastor Andrew and went to the crusade. Here again, I had to stop every so often and take nitro. When we went in we told the usher that we were guests of "Steve Hill". It was like we were royalty, the way we were escorted to the front, given VIP passes, and seated on the fourth row from the stage. Truly the favor of the Lord was upon us. Almost immediately I could sense and feel the anointing of the anointed one. The worship was awesome as we were escorted into the presence of Jehovah.

When Benny Hinn came onstage, he started a teaching on Matthew 18:19 & 20, "Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst."(NAS). Near the end of the teaching, he stopped and said," I’ve never done this before, but the Holy Spirit said He wanted us to get together in two's and three's and pray for one another"

June and Pastor Andrew and I joined in prayer. My prayer was that if the Lord had any more work for me, I must have a new heart and arteries. As we were praying, Benny Hinn stopped and said, "There is a man down here (and pointing directly at me) who the doctors just said there's no hope for you, the Spirit says you're receiving a new heart, right now!" At that very moment, it's very hard to describe, but I saw and felt like a ball of fire blow through my chest. I collapsed back onto my chair. The most awesome presence of the Lord enveloped me; it was like all the love in the universe was filling my being. A moment later Benny Hinn said, "Someone is receiving new arteries!"  Then the Lord said to me, "I've done it."  I found out later that at that exact same moment the Lord said the identical words to June and Andrew.

What happened after that is kind of a blur. I ended up on stage with Suzanne Hinn telling Benny about my receiving a new heart. Then doctors were interviewing me, and cameras were rolling.
 
I knew, that I knew, with all my being that I had work to do for the Lord because, He gave me a NEW physical heart, with arteries. After the crusade, the three of us walked all over downtown Mobile looking for a place to eat, then back to the motel, with no nitro, and feeling on top of the universe.

Since the bad report of the doctors, exactly 7 days to the minute, the Lord showed Himself mighty and faithful - by giving me "A New Heart". That was October 12, 2001. I have since stopped about half my medication, and the doctors attest to the healthiness of my heart.

It is now March of 2005, 3 1/2 years since the "bad report" from the doctors, but more importantly, 3 ½ years since the windows of heaven were opened up above me and the Lord said, "I've done it." Three simple words, spoke by The Master that changed my life and everyone around me. Since that wonderful moment in time, it seems as though I've been climbing Jacob's ladder.

Every day is an adventure in the Kingdom of God. The Lord and I have grown so close in our relationship. I know that flys in the face of "religion", but I know no other way to describe His awesome presence in my life. Everyday, He's there. Somedays He just holds my hand and says, "How's it going today?' He shows up at the most odd times, He knows when I need His presence for comfort, love, and assurance.

You see, I grew up without a father and never experienced that "father’s companionship." Now I know.
