Dear friends:On March 2, 2005, I forward two messages titled "Pastor's amazing experiences," Part 1 and Part 2, about a Pastor Phil. He and his wife experienced being transported in the Spirit and other miracles. If you missed or want to review those two messages, you can find them in my archive at www.insights.injesus.com. (See March 2.)
This is Part 3, with two more amazing experiences, to the glory of God. (I have had some problems getting my messages to you without garbles, so if this is garbled, please do not advise me. I will know and will send a correction.)

______________________1. ENCOUNTER AT KENTUCKY FRIEND CHICKEN.
February 14, 2005
About 10:00am, I felt led to take my wife to lunch at a KFC about 20 miles from the house. The manager had told us a few weeks back that he was going to start offering a "2 for 1" deal on the lunch buffet. Since my wife and I are on my fixed disability, this would be a good deal for us. We arrived about noon.
While we were enjoying our KFC original chicken (the best chicken in the world), an elderly couple came in and sat down on the other side of the place. Immediately the Holy Spirit said; "I want you to pray for them." I glanced over at them and continued eating. About five minutes passed and the Holy Spirit said again, a little more clearly; "I want you to go over and speak a prayer over them."
I watched them for a few moments, until it looked like they were finished eating and getting ready to leave. I told my wife June, "I must pray for him", and got up and walked over to them.I said to the man; "Forgive me for intruding, but I sense the Holy Spirit of God wants me to pray for you. If it would not be embarrassing to you, could I pray for you now"? He looked up at me and said, "Please pray for me, I've been in the hospital for three weeks, they haven't released me but my wife wanted to bring me hear for lunch." I asked him what his name was, and he said, "Jim". Jim and his wife started crying before I even started praying. I prayed as the Holy Spirit led. When I said amen, and looked through tear stained eyes, they were both crying, along with my wife who had joined us.
His wife said to me; "I was praying for him this morning, when the Lord said to take him to KFC for lunch, there will be someone there that wants to pray for him."
What a privilege to serve our wonderful Lord, who wanted to show someone (Jim) that He cared so much for them that He would arrange a special encounter like that.

2. YELLOWSTONE PARK ENCOUNTER
April, 1997
After having traveled to over 50 countries around the world, my wife June desired to see the Rockies, and especially Yellowstone Park. In April of 1997 we got an amazingly low rate for a vacation package to Yellowstone. As we were flying to Salt Lake City, the Lord spoke simultaneously to my wife and I saying; "I am sending you to a man - that's what this trip is really about." The whole trip we were looking and inquiring into the Spirit realm every time an opportunity to witness came up (a waiter, a gas station attendant, a convenience store clerk, motel clerk, park ranger, etc.), asking the Lord, "Is this the man".
That continued the whole 7 days of the trip. The final night of the trip, we arrived back in Salt Lake City where we were flying out of to return to Mississippi. We decided to go eat at a Steakhouse restaurant close to the motel. On the way to the restaurant we both decided that maybe we "missed the Lord", or missed the divine appointment, so we asked the Lord to forgive us, in a short prayer.
Upon entering the restaurant we noticed that most of the men in the restaurant were accompanied by two, three, or more women, and a large number of children. Most of the tables were occupied by 8 or more people. We surmised that they were Mormons. Our waiter came to our table - a big strapping young man about 21. He was at least 6'3", maybe 240 lbs. After he took our order for drinks (iced tea), he left for the kitchen.
"H's the man" reverberated in my spirit. I looked at June, she just nodded and said; "He's the one". He brought our drinks, took our orders, and left for the kitchen again. We talked back and forth asking each other what the Lord was saying, if anything. June received of the Lord that the Lord wanted to change the direction in his life. The Lord gave me a lot of knowledge about his past. We began debating about when we should speak to him, while considering all the Mormons around us.
He brought us our salads. As he was placing the salads in front of us, the Lord said; "Now" to both of us . June started by telling him the Lord wanted to change the direction of his life, he was not meant to be a waiter, and God had a ministry for him. Then I told him he had had an injury to his knee, and it had changed the course of his life. He then revealed to us that a year and a half before, he had a scholarship to play football for Utah, was a starter on the team, and then blew out his knee whereby the doctors said his career was over.
I asked him if he would be offended if we prayed for him. He immediately dropped down to his knees, weeping, and said, "Please pray now for me". The entire restaurant went deafening quiet when they saw him kneeling at the table (which happened to be in the very center of the place). We prayed as the Holy Spirit directed.
He got up, tears in his eyes, with a bewildered look on his face, like, ˜what just happened to me"? We finished our meal under the heavy scrutiny of the other people in the restaurant. You know the old saying, "If looks could kill". After leaving the restaurant, walking to the car, here he comes running, hollering; wait! wait! He thanked us over and over again, and said he was going to obey the word of the Lord and apply for entrance to college again. Then the Lord told me to tell him, "his knee had been healed, and he would again have a scholarship".
The following morning we returned to Mississippi, basking in the glow of His Presence, knowing we were once again obedient to His calling, and bringing honor to His Name - Jesus.
