My husband and I stayed at a small, old hotel on the Mount of Olives when we were there a long time ago.  At that time, the Inter-Continental Hotel was also on the Mount of Olives.  Based on internet pics, I believe that the Seven Arches is the very nice Inter-Continental.  The view of the Old City was spectacular... the guy with the camel was nice... I remember walking to and from the hotel and the Old City, walking through the Garden of Gethsemene where some of the trees there were more than 2000 years old (so they saw Jesus!)...

The article omits the alternative to public school and homeschooling:  private school.  Lots of Christian denominations have schools, many of which are academically excellent and at the same time provide a Christian education.  Lutherans, Baptists, and Catholics are three such groups that have many schools...

It is a sad day when a law has to be passed to allow Christian material in the United States.  This country was founded by Christians on Christian principles and Biblical references and displays have been a prominent part of our history from the start.  What has happened?!!!  Satan's evil has been been promoted and propagated for so long that we have to legalize what is right?!!!  But what is evil is the defacto standard against which everything else must be measured.  How outrageous.  But it is an example of what happens when good people do nothing (evil triumphs)...
